The 2nd of Rebandan was a declaration of a nation’s will for independence and justice. On the anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Kurdistan, we gather in the city of Burnaby to commemorate this historic moment together and reflect on its political and historical dimensions.
We are pleased to host Dr. Rahim Surkhi in a special seminar to discuss the significance and lasting impact of this important historical turning point.
Your presence is a tribute to history and a continuation of the long journey of the Kurdish people’s struggle for freedom.
